Boxers and Saints by Gene Luen Yang. This historical fiction graphic novel tells the story of two young people in the middle of a tumultuous time in Chinese history- the Boxer rebellion. One of the two fight to hold on to traditional Chinese ways, the other has been converted to Christianity and embraces reform. These two live weave together with tragic consequences.
